We had the opportunity to attend the launch of the Maserati Levante at Ferrari Maserati of Ontario. The folks at Ferrari Maserati of Ontario organised a truly memorable launch event fitting of the Maserati brand.
Yes we were not going to miss an opportunity to see a Levante in the "metal".
As you would expect the Levante in the showroom was covered prior to the official unveiling by Remo Ferri the owner of Ferrari Maserati of Ontario, who is a passionate individual, and his passion oozes throughout the dealership. As well as Richard Trevisan the Head of Maserati Canada who provided additional details on the Levante. Richard is Italian and ecstatic to have a leadership position in Canada with an historic Italian brand.
Lets not forget an exceptional turn out of invited guests who were all anxious to see, touch, and sit in the Levante.
The Levante is a blend of "utility" and Grand Turismo, and when the cover was finally removed its a stunning utlity with an aggressive front styling.
The Levante in the "metal" makes a statement that is only partially communicated in photos. It has all the Maserati stylind cues from the "Tridente" in the grille, the iconic "port holes" on the side, and the sloping roof line.
Its powered by a 3.0 L V6 with twin turbos generating 345 HP coupled to an 8 speed automatic transmission. Obvious it has Q4 intelligent all whell drive. Base MSRP for this version will be approximately $89,000.00...most folks attending thought it was a reasonable starting price point.
This utility has the Ermenegildo Zegna interior with unique inserts, and glove soft leather...simply stunning.
The wood paneling on the console immediately captures the attention.
When can you get one? September 2016.
